Meet Our Pastor

Micheal Smith

Rev. Michael Smith, Jr. serves as the Senior Pastor of Pine Hills Free Will Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama. He is committed to the faithful exposition of Scripture, Christ-centered preaching, and shepherding God’s people with biblical conviction, pastoral compassion, and a heart for spiritual renewal.

Children’s Ministry Director

Holly Smith

Holly Smith graduated from Northwest Florida College in Early Childhood Education and has spent her life serving children and families. She has ministered in early childhood education and worked as an elementary school teacher throughout her career.

As Pastor Michael Smith’s wife, Holly brings a caring heart, a love for children, and a desire to help families feel welcomed and encouraged at Pine Hills.

Women’s Ministry Director & Treasurer

Gerutha Love

Gerutha Love has been a faithful part of Pine Hills Free Will Baptist Church for around 40 years. Her family’s connection to Pine Hills runs deep, as her parents were instrumental in helping establish the church and lay a foundation for the ministry we continue today. Gerutha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and has served the church in many areas over the years, including children’s ministry, women’s ministry, and other departments of service. Her faithfulness, experience, and love for the church family have made her a blessing to Pine Hills for generations.

Music Director, Accompanist, and Clerk

Jean Miller Ingersoll

Jean Miller Ingersoll faithfully serves Pine Hills Free Will Baptist Church as Music Director, accompanist, and Church Clerk. Through her love for music and dedication to the ministry, she has helped lead the congregation in worship while faithfully serving behind the scenes in many areas of church life. Her heart for the Lord and years of faithful service continue to be a blessing to the Pine Hills church family.

Young Adult Ministry Directors & Media

David & Yasha Smith

David & Yasha Smith are honored to serve as the Young Adult Ministry Directors at Pine Hills Free Will Baptist Church while also leading the church's technology and media ministries. David holds a bachelor's degree in Financial Economics and has a heart for biblical teaching, discipleship, and using technology to support the church's mission. Together with their three children, David and Yasha are passionate about serving the Lord, encouraging young adults, strengthening Christian families, and helping others grow in their walk with Christ.
